Spoof or real?

Navigation signals are faint, so they can be drowned out (jamming) or imitated (spoofing). You're watching a receiver in a car. Read its signals and call it: clean, jammed or spoofed. The sooner you're right, the more you score.

Six drives

Each drive lasts two minutes, played fast. Some are fine. Some are not.

  1. 01Signal strength (C/N0) differs from satellite to satellite and wanders a little. That's normal.
  2. 02Watch for changes that hit every satellite at once, a clock that jumps, or a position that leaves the road.
  3. 03Calling an attack too early is a false alarm. Calling "clean" before the end is a gamble.

This is simulated and kept simple, but these tells are the real starting points for interference monitoring, the kind of thing GNSS engineers build tools for.
